May 21, 2024 · SAN DIEGO (July 5, 2023) – University of San Diego (USD) School of Law is pleased to announce that Justin Brooks has joined the School of Law as the new Academic Director, LLM in Comparative Law in Spanish and Grant Administrator, Mexican Mediation and Litigation Program as of July 2023. He will also serve as a Professor of Practice in criminal procedure.
May 23, 2024 · San Diego (August 1, 2017) – University of San Diego (USD) School of Law alumna Erika Hiramatsu, ’97 (JD), has been appointed to be the next chair of the Committee of California Bar Examiners. Hiramatsu is a deputy attorney general in the state attorney general’s San Diego office and handles False Claims Act cases involving Medi-Cal fraud.
