Ransik, one of the most dangerous mutants, is arrested and sentenced to life for his crimes including murder and the plan to travel back in time to take over the world. However, after sentencing, he escapes and manages to go back in time to the year 2001, but seemingly kills Alex, the Red Time Force Ranger, in the process.
The man, Wesley Collins, comes to help and takes the Red Chrono Morpher, allowing Jen, Trip, Katie, and Lucas to morph into the Red, Pink, Green, Yellow, and Blue Time Force Rangers.
