Jul 22, 2024 · Kottayam has to find a good place to relocate the Goods Yard . The goods line near the FCI is eating away any scope for development of the railway station. Hope our Kerala Peoples will get the priority right for Kottayam and get some land to re-locate the goods yards. Learn from Karnataka, they removed the BUnder goods yard to Uppala. Bunder gate too is going to go as per Palakkad division , replaced with a flyover ( 100 % funded by railway like Palakkad divisions, kerala ROB's ) .
