In Search of the Castaways is generally considered to be the first volume in Jules Verne’s Sea Trilogy, along with Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas, and The Mysterious Island. Those volumes have already had unabridged English translations done for them, by F. P. Walter, and Sidney Kravitz.
