Series 9 was the ninth series of Taskmaster and first aired on Dave from 4 September to 6 November 2019. The series featured David Baddiel, Ed Gamble, Jo Brand, Katy Wix and Rose Matafeo as contestants and was won by Ed Gamble. The series had a baroque theme to it. This is the last series to air on Dave, and is also the last series to feature Greg Davies at the Taskmaster House in the introductory videos played before tasks. Notes Taskmaster Series 9 on All 4

- Katherine Ryan. This series saw Doc Brown, Joe Wilkinson, Jon Richardson, Katherine Ryan and Richard Osman face off in a series of challenges.
- Rob Beckett. Beckett surpassed Al Murray, Dave Gorman, Paul Chowdhry, and Sara Pascoe, and was crowned the winner of the third series.
- Noel Fielding. Back in 2017, Great British Bake Off host and Mighty Boosh star Noel Fielding won Taskmaster. The other celebs in the line-up included: Hugh Dennis, Joe Lycett, Lolly Adefope, and Mel Giedroyc.
Nov 7, 2019 · In the final on November 6, the winner was crowned as Ed Gamble won Taskmaster series 9. David Baddiel finished fifth, Jo Brand was in fourth, Katy Wix placed third and Rose Matafeo was runner up.

Taskmaster is a British comedy panel game show created by comedian and musician Alex Horne and presented by both Horne and Greg Davies.In the programme, a group of five celebrities – mainly comedians – attempt to complete a series of challenges, with Horne acting as umpire in each challenge and Davies, the titular "Taskmaster", judging the work and awarding points based on contestants' performances.
