Birsa Dasgupta (born 2 November 1979) is an Indian Bengali film director based in Tollywood. He has directed films such as Shudhu Tomari Jonyo, Gangster, Mukhosh and Byomkesh O Durgo Rahasya. [2] [3]
Bengali film director Birsa Dasgupta started his career by assisting in Hindi serials and movies. He worked as a unit director on Anurag Kashyap`s crime film Black Friday. However, he realized that he would rather work in the Bengali film industry and moved back to Kolkata.
