De Dana Dan (Hit Left and Right) is a 2009 Indian Hindi-language comedy film directed by Priyadarshan. Its story is a partial adaptation of the Hollywood film Screwed; some scenes were taken from Vettam, Priyadarshan's Malayalam film. The film has an ensemble cast led by Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Katrina Kaif, Paresh Rawal and Sameera Reddy.
He is in love with gorgeous Anjali Kakkad, but her father refuses to give his consent for this alliance. Desperate to get out of this situation, Nitin attempts suicide, albeit in vain, then cooks up a scheme to abduct Kuljeet's pet, Mulchand, demand a hefty ransom, and marry Anjali.
Nitin Bankar (Akshay Kumar) is a personal butler, cook, driver, watchman, gardener to a wealthy female industrialist (Archana Puran Singh) in Singapore. Like any young man, Nitin too, dreams of a better life, but misfortune is his constant companion and his reality is his job under Archana.

Nitin (Akshay Kumar) and Ram (Suniel Shetty) are only lucky in love—otherwise their life is a big zero as is their bank balance! But now their rich girlfriends—Anjali (Katrina Kaif) and Manpreet (Sameera Reddy) have given them an ultimatum—earn enough money so that we can elope or forget us forever.
Broke and desperate Nitin and Ram need to make big money and fast. They hit upon an audacious plan to kidnap Moolchandji, the spoilt dog of rich bitch Archana (Archana Puran Singh). But Moolchandji runs away, and the police think it's Nitin who's been kidnapped.
