Feb 4, 2021 · Supertrain was created by Donald E. Westlake & Earl W. Wallace. Both experienced writers, this would be the first and only TV show that they would be credited with creating. Both had really solids writing careers. After Supertrain, Westlake would go onto write films like The Grifters (1990) and Payback (1999).
Created by Dr Dan Lewis (Alda), the Supertrain is supposedly capable of safely traveling at nearly 200 miles per hour as it traverses the USA; its actual apparent speed is some 100 miles per hour.
