Location Causeway to Mandø. Mandø or Manø (Danish pronunciation:) is one of the Danish Wadden Sea islands off the southwest coast of Jutland, Denmark in the Wadden Sea, part of the North Sea. The island covers an area of 7.63 square kilometres (2.95 square miles) and had between 27-31 inhabitants in January 2022.
On Mandø you experience nature in all its magnificence, here you get the feel of this Wadden Sea island, which so often has had to contend with violent storms. South of Mandø lies a sandbank, Koresand, where you can observe seals.

Aug 1, 2022 · Fantastic little beautiful island. Enjoy a trip with the Mandø bus in the beautiful spring weather. Definitely worth a visit. The museum was unfortunately closed that day.
