Location Causeway to Mandø. Mandø or Manø (Danish pronunciation:) is one of the Danish Wadden Sea islands off the southwest coast of Jutland, Denmark in the Wadden Sea, part of the North Sea. The island covers an area of 7.63 square kilometres (2.95 square miles) and had between 27-31 inhabitants in January 2022.

On Mandø you experience nature in all its magnificence, here you get the feel of this Wadden Sea island, which so often has had to contend with violent storms. South of Mandø lies a sandbank, Koresand, where you can observe seals.
Mandø Museum. Mandø Mølle. Mandø eller Manø [2] er en 7,63 km² dansk tidevandsø i Vadehavet mellem Rømø (mod syd) og Fanø (mod nord), der indtil inddigningen i 1937 var en hallig. I 2023 havde øen 31 indbyggere, [3] [4] og disse bor i Mandø By, der er beliggende på den vestlige del af øen.
MANDØ er i liga med Great Barrier Reef og Grand Canyon. Nationalpark Vadehavet blev af UNESCO udpeget som verdensarv. Mandø ligger midt i den danske del af Vadehavet.
Mandø is Denmark's only island that can only be reached at low tide. Experience tides, bird migration, seal safaris and amber hunting with the tractor bus or on foot.
Aug 1, 2022 · Fantastic little beautiful island. Enjoy a trip with the Mandø bus in the beautiful spring weather. Definitely worth a visit. The museum was unfortunately closed that day.
