It is a very dark album since it chronicles the depression experience. Musically, there is less of Wright's beautiful acoustic piano than on Wet Dream, his last solo album, but it is dominated by his incredible synth. Honestly, a fantastic album. It needs to get a re-release.

With Broken China it was completely different: I didn’t have any music written before Anthony came and worked with me. The album was mapped out: the different structures – whether one section was going to be made up of, for example symphonic music and another one of rock.
