I think Part 3 is technically superior but enjoy the futuristic bits of Part 2 more than the Wild West theme of 3. Part 2 gave us Nike Mags, darkest timeline Biff, flying skateboards, etc, etc.

For a bit of background, I believe that Back to the Future Part 1 is primetime, grade A cinema. So much fun! I think it would be hard to debate that it's the best in the series, but if you believe 2 or 3 are better, let's hear why in the comment section!
May 22, 2020 · While the finer points of its narrative were lost on younger audiences when it first came out 30 years ago this week, a recent rewatch in honor of its 30th anniversary reveals it’s arguably the best sequel in the popular series. (Sorry not sorry, Back to the Future Part II.)

I'm not big on the future part in part II. I think the movie really picks up when they go back to the new 1985. It may be the best overall. But part III is the worst I think. It's great in its own, but maybe a bit anticlimactic ? The whole ending is amazing however.
