Bachelor of Science. Instruction is imparted through English Medium only. Student shall offer : 1) Compulsory English ENG. 2) Any one of the following Languages: Hindi/Marathi/Supplementary English / Sanskrit HIN / MAR / S.E./ SNS. 3) Any one of the following groups of subjects : a) Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics PCM.
Rev. Stephen Hislop. Rev. Stephen Hislop (8th Sept. 1817 to 4th Sept. 1863), after whom the college is named, was an Evangelist, Educationist and Geologist. He worked for 18 years in the Vidarbha Region, and learnt Marathi Language in 15 Months. Death took him on 4th September, 1863 in BORI RIVER where he was drowned in the vicinity of TAKALGHAT.
