What do you all think of the Sniper Ghost Warrior games? I just picked up the most recent release "Contracts" and it's pretty good so far. It's got the advanced sniping mechanics, bullet cam, and most of the things I liked about SE4 with a great modern take on the tech involved.
May 2, 2022 · So while Sniper Ghost Warrior currently has the market cornered as far as modern day settings go for sniper games, I bet a Sniper Elite taking place in the modern day would be far superior to the Sniper Ghost Warrior games.
For general stealth, Sniper Elite 4 is more solid; for actual sniping, pick Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts
Jul 28, 2023 · The Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts series has introduced many players to the needed lethality that is crucial to becoming an elite sniper. Now Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 1 & 2 have been bundled together to provide a challenging collective experience, with two dramatic single-player campaigns.
Sniper Elite is more focused on stealth in more open environments/worlds while Sniper Ghost Warrior is more action/shooter. I prefer Sniper Elite because I like its shooting physics more, but ghost warrior is faster paced and still a good game.
Both very good games imo, SE5 obviously is WW2 era, this is modern. It really boils down to which era you want to play in. I choose both, because again, both are quite good. I would say this game is a bit more cheesy because of the AI grenade-glitch.
