The damage resulted in a massive area of stuck pixels on the laptop screen, approximately 2 inches by 10 inches in area. Dec 10, 2018 · I've looked up several times about how to fix a stuck pixel; but all their classifications of stuck do not really apply to this. I have a single pixel that's blue, however if I mouse over it; it turns white. So that means the other micro pixels are working fine to produce white, but the blue one obviously won't deactivate.

Dead pixels are individual pixels, not the entire line. What you see is likely a problem in vertical contact field, namely in one or more of contacts which power affected horizontal lines.
