Oct 29, 2022 · OneDrive is a cloud storage service. The reason you are experiencing this issue is because you are signed in on OneDrive permanently. This automatically syncs your document, pictures and any other file saved on your iPhone. So basically, it uses both the device and the cloud storage except you ask it not to by stopping it from syncing.
Oct 3, 2023 · Hi Annalee, Microsoft does not offer or say that with Microsoft Office 2021 that it includes 1TB of Cloud Storage. Not sure what the scammers on the internet have to say. I assume Office 2021 is for those who want to save money and keep their backups not on OneDrive but on an external drive or a different cloud provider.
