Hanuman Dhoka is a complex of ancient structures that was the royal palace of Malla kings and Shah dynasty. It is located in the Darbar Square of Kathmandu and has a museum with artifacts and idols.
Hanuman Dhoka is the historic palace of the Nepalese kings, founded in the 4th century and expanded by the Mallas and Ranas. The palace was badly damaged by the 2015 earthquake and some parts are still closed for reconstruction, but you can visit the Nasal Chowk courtyard and the Tribhuvan Museum.
