In order to avoid confusion, there are separate admission portals for ODL and Online Programmes: For ODL Programmes, the Portal is https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in For Online Programmes, the Portal is https://ignouiop.samarth.edu.in To make the distinction clearer, all Online Programmes have „OL‟ suffixed in their Programme Codes.

Aug 14, 2024 · Under the new system, students must register on the UGC-DEB web portal and create a unique DEB-ID using their Academic Bank of Credit (ABC)-ID. This DEB-ID will be mandatory for all students enrolling in recognised ODL and online programmes, except for foreign learners, and will remain valid for their lifetime.
With the approval of the competent authority, the last date for Fresh Admission and Re-registration for the January 2023 cycle for all Programmes (except certificate and Semester based Programmes) (both for Online and ODL mode) have been extended till 31st March 2023.
