  1. Beanie Feldstein should host SNL. With a new movie she’s starring in called “The Humans”, the revival of Funny Girl in 2022, and her new show American Crime Story: Impeachment, I think Beanie Feldstein should host SNL this season. Her brother, Jonah Hill, could make a cameo.

  2. Jul 11, 2022 · Bonus: I have not viewed or listened to Beanie Feldstein's performance but some in the theatre community on Reddit say that while Feldstein isn't a musical powerhouse like Barbara Streisand (the originator of the role), her comedic timing and acting are good. With that, another apprehension is that Lea Michele is a musical powerhouse like Streisand but lacks the potential comedic acting chops needed for the role.

  3. The "creation" of Beanie Feldstein as A Thing starts with well-connected and very wealthy parents, travels on to their kids going to the extremely elite and expensive Harvard-Westlake school where they hook up with other extremely elite kids, moves to the summertime where the kids go to $6K-for-two-weeks-of-camp Stagedoor Manor and make even ...

They don't have the typical social media exchange that most leads do with understudies whenever they have to go on. Beanie posted on Instagram rooting for Ephie when she was covering for Fanny, and I don't believe she's ever done something like this for Julie despite the multitude of times she's covered for her.

  5. May 30, 2022 · Beanie was incredibly funny and strong in comic scenes, but a lot of the singing was just borderline acceptable — and no, "it's not Barbra" is not an excuse. The singing actually sounded weak, tentative and high school level in many parts.

  7. A subreddit for the FX series American Crime Story, sister series of American Horror Story. Monica Lewinsky was miscast. Is it just me but does Beanie Feldstein seem miscast as Monica Lewinsky I thought Barbie Ferreira would have been a better choice. I was really impressed by her performances in Euphoria and Unpregnant.

  8. Dec 5, 2021 · Beanie Feldstein did Broadway before she was well-known. She is funny, adorable and I think she will be great. I think she's going to be amazing - she sure was in Hello, Dolly. I remember seeing her at the stage door after the show and telling her how she kept me laughing any time she was on stage.

  9. ChildJohn. • 2 yr. ago • Edited 2 yr. ago. It’s not about Beanie, no. This blind was also posted on r/Broadway and someone who says they work in the industry is insisting it’s true lmao. Who knows. Edit: it appears they’re implying it’s Nkeki Obi-Melekwe from the Tina Turner musical. 47. Reply.

  10. Jul 12, 2022 · 307 votes, 15 comments. true. There's a lot of details about everything that has happened with Beanie's situation with playing an iconic role Fanny Brice--having to live up to the standard of a legendary predecessor and getting intense amounts of negative feedback in a role she was seemingly set up to fail in--that share a lot of similarities to when the much loved West End performer Martin Smith was cast as The Phantom in the West End production in late 1989, succeeding the iconic Michael ...
