Catacombs is a 2007 American horror film directed by Tomm Coker and David Elliot, starring Shannyn Sossamon and Pink. The plot follows a young woman attempting to find her way out of the Catacombs of Paris with a killer pursuing her.
Catacombs. March 24, 1993. In the 17th century, an order of monks in Italy capture and entomb a demon that has possessed a member of their group. 400 years later, school teacher Elizabeth Magrino visits the monastery in order to do some research.
The scariest part is that It's loosely based on a true story about people getting lost and dying in the Catacombs, but there's no real "monster" like in the movie. If you like low-budget movies, movies like The Descent and As Above, So Below, I recommend this movie.
