Jun 1, 2023 · Wow - the first sight of this beach and landscape took our breath away. It is incredible. Huge, pristine white arc of sand , turquoise and emerald seas, rocky rugged little islets offshore and that wonderful rock and moorland hinterland. One of the most beautiful places in the Outer Isles (as are several in this area).

Nov 16, 2023 · The scenery and beaches on Lewis are underrated. Luskentyre on Isle of Harris might be your typical Western Isles beach with white sand and turquoise water. However, my favourite beach in the Outer Hebrides is Uig beach on Lewis. Harris is a great destination for pretty scenery, walks and to just get away from it all.
Mar 8, 2022 · Stunning Luskentyre Beach is the star, but our other favourites included Scarista, Seilebost and Horgabost beaches on the Isle of Harris as well as Ness beach on the Isle of Lewis. The coast of both Lewis and Harris is dotted with a diverse mix of sheltered coves, sandy dunes and rocky bays, so you’ll have no problem finding your perfect beach.
