Apr 3, 2021 · P.S. I even took the 'Invite Germany Military Mission' focus before joining the axis, as it's meant to help avoid a civil war. However, it didn't help at all. (patch 1.25, Shinto One Faith and Togoku One Culture) In current patch I join Axis - manually, will bypass focus tree - after Germany invaded Poland. Before always gave civil war for me.

Nov 17, 2021 · I believe the logic is that the previous foci are the transition period, and you can exit it one of two ways, by creating a league of independent states and giving up on the idea of yugoslavia, or by formalizing a union of states in sort of an american model, where each released nation retains a large amount of autonomy but gives up foreign relation and defence rights to a federal government.

And yet quite a lot of people went there as volunteers to fight; going communist and putting Tito in charge, there is no doubt Yugoslavia would've sent men to fight for the legitimate Spanish government there.

It's also just enough time for doing 1x colaboration government. So you will be fighting just YUG and war tension should prevent anyone else from guaranteeing.
Given that the first reference to the word "Yugoslavia" takes place almost 30 years after the time-span of the game, it'd be rather unrealistic to feature Yugoslavia as a South Slavic formable. Of course, as the OP noted, EU4 is full of "what if" scenarios, and it is not completely beyond the realm of possibility for an unified South Slavic nation to have emerged during the early modern period.
Apr 5, 2020 · Yugoslavia was pretty much friendly to Axis, but there was a palace coup which installed new government which wasn't as friendly and sympathized to Allies. Nazis didn't take chances and invaded it on short notice. 27th March coup occurs, 6 April full-scale invasion is launched.
