Gulshan Kumar Dua (5 May 1951 – 12 August 1997), was an Indian film and music producer and businessman who was the founder of the Super Cassettes Industries Limited (T-Series) music label in the Bollywood industry. After founding T-Series in 1983, Dua established it as a leading record label in the 1990s.
Gulshan belonged to a humble Punjabi family background as his father was a juice seller in Daryaganj, Delhi. Kumar used to help his father with the family business. He started his business by manufacturing audio cassettes, agarbattis, bottled water, detergents and ceiling fans.
Gulshan Devaiah is an Indian actor who primarily appears in Hindi films. He is known for his roles in Shaitan, Hate Story and Hunterrr. His performance in Shaitan was critically praised and earned him a nomination for Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.
Gulshan is a commercial and residential area, originally meant for offices and embassies of diplomatic missions, as well as residences. The area has seen an upsurge in the number of high-rise buildings, restaurants, residential areas, modern markets and ice-cream parlors since the mid-1990s.
