Welcome to Thiruvalluvar University. The Thiruvalluvar University was established in October 2002 under the Thiruvalluvar University Act, 2002 (Government of Tamilnadu Act 32/2002) as an affiliating University. It is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (A.I.U).
The Thiruvalluvar University has currently housed Ten departments namely Tamil, English, Economics, Zoology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Commerce, Physics, Bio-Technology and 74 colleges affiliated to the University with the jurisdiction of Vellore, Thiruvannamalai districts of Tamilnadu State.
