Samsara Nauka in 1936 marked her acting debut. She passed away on 23 April 1999 aged 76. Rajamma was born in 1923 in Agandanahalli, a rural village in Bangalore district. She studied till 8 th grade. At that time she got attracted towards theatre and moved towards it. She later joined Chandrakala theatre group, where she acted in a few stage plays.
