Daisy Kenyon (Joan Crawford), a commercial artist in Manhattan, must decide between two suitors: Dan O'Mara (Dana Andrews), a dashing, handsome lawyer who is already married, and Peter Lapham (Henry Fonda), a "nice guy" writer who is single.
