Ekenbabu is a police detective who looks like a very common Bengali man. He studied criminology in the USA. His real name is Ekendra Sen. He is eccentric, little comical and takes snuffs. He is a man with a sweet smile, a bald head and a round face.
It is true they are both detective films, but the stories of both films are completely different from one another and the characters are entirely different too. The plot of this film is in no way connected with Ray’s film. Our story is about Eken Babu, a detective, and how he and his friends get involved in a mystery during a vacation to Rajasthan.

Eken Babu is a Bengali web series streaming on Hoichoi. The web series is based on Ekenbabu detective story, which is written by Sujan Dasgupta. [ 1 ] Anirban Chakraborti plays the title role, with Shoumyo Banerjee and Debapriyo Bagchi in supporting roles.
