    Though it was based on Discovery of India, I do not think it was based entirely on it. Most of the consultants on it were eminent historians eg Irfan Habib. The screenplay is good and the acting top notch, special mention to the music by Vanraj Bhatia, a criminally underrated music director, the title music is just next level.
