  1. It's worth watching. Where the Walking Dead is more of a soap opera where the zombies are more of an environmental issue (like the cold is for movies set in the arctic), Z-Nation lets the zombies continue to be a character.

  2. Z Nation is pretty campy but it’s a much better written show then TWD. TWD relied on two lazy devices for character development: 1) the group gets into a big argument and 2) two characters have a really long scene where they describe their feelings to each other.

  3. Z-Nation is definitely a fun watch with a great cast of characters. Just relax, and completely suspend your belief because this show has infinite reaching plot. The characters are more relatable and easier to empathize with than The Walking Dead IMO.

  4. Several years since a zombie virus swept across America, there's only one person -- who goes by just Murphy -- known to have survived the infection -- the world's last hope at creating a vaccine.

  5. Sep 12, 2014 · The final act twist almost makes “Z Nation” fun enough to keep watching, and it would be nice to have hope while watching a zombie show, for once, even if it’s just hope that it gets better.

  6. Oct 22, 2017 · Z Nation is worth persevering with as the first couple of episodes do take a while to settle into a consistent rhythm. The inevitable comparisons to The Walking Dead are bound to crop up with the aesthetic very similar, bathing the world in dirty browns and earthy colours, void of bright colours.

  7. It's definitely worth a watch if you've stayed with the series to this point and is much better than most in the genre as it certainly does have its moments and some standout episodes.
