La Maravilla (English: The Wonder) is the first novel by Alfredo Véa Jr., published on April 1, 1993. Hundreds of pictograms and petroglyphs were engraved in red and black on the stone walls by the Taíno Indian tribe. The cave was discovered by explorers in 1926, and since then, it’s been preserved and kept as a landmark of Dominican history.
