If you want to eat dinner at the Moomin House Cafe the appetizers start from 600 yen and goes up to 1200 yen depending on what you want to eat. The main dishes are 900 – 1300 yen each, and they even have some traditional Finnish dishes to choose from. The desserts cost between 650- 1800 yen.

As of January 2018, there are 15 themed Moomin Cafes around the world – Finland, Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, South Korea and Taiwan – allowing diners to immerse themselves in the Moomin world. Diners can enjoy Moomin-inspired meals sitting at tables with larger-than-life plush versions of Moomin characters.

Nov 18, 2022 · From February 2023, a new company will step in and develop Moomin-themed shops and cafés, so while Mariko is sad to see the current Moomin cafés, where she made such a special memory, close down, she has high hopes for what will come next. Fingers crossed that the new Moomin Cafe will continue the same level of kindness as the previous one did.

Perfectly marrying Japanese cuisine with Finnish specialties, the Moomin Cafe is one of the few Tokyo cafes to offer Northern European dishes for less than 1,500 yen ($13). A small buffet of Finnish breads is also on the menu, available to customers who order any set meal at lunchtime!
