Mayabazar ( transl. Market of Illusions) [3] is a 1957 Indian epic Hindu mythological film directed by K. V. Reddy. [4] [5] It was produced by Nagi Reddi and Chakrapani under their banner, Vijaya Productions. The film was shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil, with a few differences in the cast.

When the Pandavas lose their kingdom in the infamous game of dice to the Kauravas, Balarama promises his daughter's hand to Duryodhana's son, thereby breaking the promise made to Subhadra (Abhimanu's mother and Balarama's sister).
