NIPER Raebareli is an institute of national importance for pharmaceutical education and research in India. It offers various programs, courses, workshops, and events in the fields of pharmacy, chemistry, biotechnology, and toxicology.
Application of nanotechnology for the diagnosis and treatment of brain diseases and disorder like Alzheimer’s, Parkinsons and Multiple sclerosis. Working in the area of toxicology: Acute and sub-acute, chronic toxicity assays, reproductive toxicology, immunotoxicity, and neurotoxicity.
NIPER Raebareli is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India, to provide leadership in pharmaceutical sciences and related areas. It offers M.S and Ph.D programmes in Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology & Toxicology, Regulatory Toxicology and Biotechnology.

Nurture and promote quality and excellence in pharmaceutical education and research:Run Master's, Doctoral and post-Doctoral courses and research in pharmaceutical educationDevelop a multi-disciplinary approach in carrying out research and training of pharmaceutical manpower ; andAct as nucleus for interaction between academic and industry by undertaking sponsored and funded research as well as consultancy projectsAt present these NIPERs impart Ph.D and PG level education and grant degree under the NIPER Act, 1998. The students are selected through a common entrance examination. Each Master student is given a fellowship of Rs. 12,400/- per month and Ph.D scholars @ Rs. 31,000-35,000/-.
