PDBsum1 is a standalone version of PDBsum Generate for local installation and running. It generates the same analyses as PDBsum, with the added advantage of allowing you direct access to the computed data.

Some of its most recent features include figures from the structure's key reference, citation data, Pfam domain diagrams, topology diagrams and protein-protein interactions.

The analyses are primarily image‐based and include protein secondary structure, protein‐ligand and protein‐DNA interactions, PROCHECK analyses of structural quality, and many others.
PDBsum1 is a standalone set of programs to perform the same structural analyses as provided by the PDBsum web server (https://www.ebi.ac.uk/pdbsum). The server has pages for every entry in the Protein Data Bank (PDB) and can also process user‐uploaded PDB files, returning a password‐protected set of pages that are retained for around 3 months.
PDBsum contains a number of protein structures that may be of interest in structure-based drug design. One branch of PDBsum, known as DrugPort, focuses on these models and is linked with the DrugBank drug target database.

Sep 5, 2017 · Users can upload their own structures for analysis via the Generate link on the PDBsum home page. A unique PDB code and password are e-mailed when the analyses are complete, giving access to a set of PDBsum pages with all the features described above.
