About the Luton campus. Our Luton campus is located right in the heart of the town centre boasting our brand-new STEM Building, seven-storey Library and Postgraduate & CPD Centre, as well as an array of fantastic modern facilities to support each of the courses on offer.
The University of Bedfordshire is a public research university with campuses in Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, England. The University has roots in further and higher education from 1882: it gained university status in 1993 as the University of Luton.
This top-up course builds on the skills and knowledge gained from a previous relevant Foundation degree in Education Practice or similar 240-credit course. It brings you up to a full Honours degree in just one year, opening up exciting career opportunities.

Previously Luton College of Higher Education, with roots dating back to Luton Modern School, founded in 1908, the University of Bedfordshire has been known by its current name since the University of Luton and De Montfort University’s Bedford campus merged in 2006.
