Classify was a FRBR-based prototype designed to support the assignment of classification numbers and subject headings for books, DVDs, CDs, and other types of materials. This project applied principles of the FRBR model to aggregate bibliographic information above the manifestation level.

The Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) system is the world’s most widely used way to organize library collections. The DDC constantly updates to enable better discovery across any topic in multiple languages.
The main structure of the DDC is presented in three summaries (outlines) of the Dewey Decimal Classification. The summaries give Dewey numbers and their accompanying captions. The captions have been edited to make browsing easier, and so may not match the complete heading found in the DDC classification schedules.
