KEGG Mapper is a collection of tools for KEGG mapping including popular KEGG pathway mapping, JOIN BRITE operations and MODULE completeness checks. Historically, two basic tools of "Search Pathway" (currently, Search) and "Search&Color Pathway" (currently, Color) were introduced at the beginning of the KEGG project.

The Join tool combines a Brite hierarchy or table file with a binary relation file by matching KEGG identifiers, effectively adding a new column in the Brite file. A variant of this tool is Taxonomy mapping in KEGG Syntax.
