Audrey Truschke ( / ˈtrʌʃkiː /) is a historian of South Asia and an associate professor at Rutgers University. Her work focuses on inter-community relations in medieval South Asia, especially during the Mughal Empire. In 2017, she was conferred with the John F. Richards Prize in South Asian History by American Historical Association .

Audrey Truschke is Professor of South Asian History at Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey. She is the author of three books: Culture of Encounters: Sanskrit at the Mughal Court (2016), Aurangzeb (2017), and The Language of History: Sanskrit Narratives of Indo-Muslim Rule (2021).
Audrey Truschke received her Ph.D. in 2012 from Columbia University. Professor Truschke's teaching and research interests focus on the cultural, imperial, and intellectual history of early modern and modern India (c. 1500-present).
