Mariam-uz-Zamani ( lit. ' Mary /Compassionate of the Age'; [5] c. 1544 – 19 May 1623), commonly known by the misnomer Jodha Bai, [6] was the chief consort and principal Hindu wife [a] as well as the favourite wife of the third Mughal emperor, Akbar.
Jodhaa Akbar is a 2008 Indian Hindi-language epic historical romantic drama musical film directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. It stars Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the titular roles. Asif's Mughal-e-Azam (1960). Instead, after some research, the two prepared an epic romantic musical based on Akbar and his Rajput queen Jodhaa Bai.
