ENGLISH MINOR. Description: The English minor offers students the opportunity to read, appreciate and analyze literature, advance their critical thinking skills, and polish their creative and non-fiction writing.
We encourage students to declare minors by the time they have earned 75 credits by filling out the Undergraduate Declaration of Minor Form and submitting it to Jay Express. Students should be able to see their declared minors on their unofficial transcripts in CUNYFirst.
Language and Style: Show a versatile understanding and execution of language, voice, structure, and style, as appropriate for diverse professional and academic genres and audiences.
