Dec 27, 2023 · This will create the kaleidoscope effect when the kids look inside! Note: The triangle pieces need to be almost as long as the tube. I’d say just a little shorter to make sure the end cover goes on right. Then glue the three 1″ pieces together into a triangle and slide into the tube. The triangle piece should be pretty snug between the plastic ends.
Grab the reflective paper and lay flat with the mirrored side up. Place the template short side next to the short side of the paper. Place a ruler on top of the paper and line up with the dashed lines on the template. Pull up the paper so you get a nice crease with the edge of the ruler. Repeat for the other two lines.
Step 2: Assemble the Mirrors. Form the mirrors into a triangle (shiny side in) and slide them into the tube. If the fit is too tight, sand the outside edges until they just wedge in and don't move. Make sure you clean them first, because if you can't get them back out, you'll never be able to clean them.
