Maasmechelen is een gemeente in de Belgische provincie Limburg en overschreed in juni 2023 de kaap van 40.000 inwoners. De gemeente omvat de voormalige gemeenten Mechelen-aan-de-Maas, Vucht met het dorp en de tuinwijk, Leut, Meeswijk, Uikhoven, Eisden met de woonkernen Eisden-Dorp en Eisden-Tuinwijk, Opgrimbie, Boorsem met woonkern Kotem.
Maasmechelen (Limburgisch: Mechele) ist ein Ort in der belgischen Provinz Limburg. Der Ort liegt am linken Ufer der Maas, welche dort die Grenze zwischen Belgien und den Niederlanden bildet. Maasmechelen hat 39.409 Einwohner (Stand 1. Januar 2022). Das heutige Maasmechelen entstand durch die Gemeindefusion von 1977.
