William Darrell "Bubba" Wallace Jr. [1] (born October 8, 1993) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 23 Toyota Camry XSE for 23XI Racing.
In 2018, Bubba became the first African-American to become a full-time driver at the highest level of NASCAR, the Cup Series. In 2021, Bubba became the first Black driver to win a race in the Cup Series since Hall of Famer Wendell Scott at Speedway Park on Dec. 1, 1963.
