Aadhaar QR code is Quick Response code digitally signed by UIDAI and used for offline verification of identity. It is present on all forms of Aadhaar like e-Aadhaar, Aadhaar letter, Aadhaar PVC card and mAadhaar. It contains last 4 digits of Aadhaar number, name, address, gender, date of birth and photograph of the Aadhaar number holder.
By providing this service at citizens’ doorstep, the postman and GDS will be able to update mobile number of people who may not have access to an Aadhaar enrolment center in their vicinity. Service Charge: Rs. 50 including applicable taxes.

Jul 20, 2021 · India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) announced today it has launched a service for updating mobile numbers in Aadhaar as a Registrar for Unique Identification Authority of India ( UIDAI ). Now a resident Aadhaar holder can get his mobile number updated in Aadhaar by the postman at his doorstep.
