The National Institute of Engineering (NIE) is a private engineering college located in Mysore, Karnataka, India. It was established in 1946 and granted autonomy in 2007 from Visvesvaraya Technological University .
All the Departments of NIE are recognized as Research Centre under VTU and AICTE for QIP. Currently, NIE offers 7 UG and 10 PG Programmes. From the academic year 2022-23 we are offering programmes in two campus i.e., NIE North campus and NIE South campus.
