Badla is a very good murder mystery by Sujoy Ghosh. The film flows really well and keeps commanding the viewers' attention all through, mainly thanks to the great narrative style. The film is set in a room where a lawyer interviews his client, a businesswoman who is accused of having murdered of her lover and maintains she is innocent.
Badla (transl. Revenge) is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language mystery thriller film directed by Sujoy Ghosh and starring Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Tony Luke and Amrita Singh. The film is produced by Universal Entertainment, Red Chillies Entertainment and Azure Entertainment and is a remake of the 2016 Spanish film The Invisible Guest.
