Journalistic Career. Maulana Azad began his journalistic writings at a very young age. He started publishing his poetic journal Nairang-e-Aalam at the age of 11. He was also the editor of a weekly Al-Misbah in 1900. He also wrote a number of articles for Urdu journals and magazines.
Cumulatively, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad was a visionary politician, a major journalist, a remarkable prose stylist, and a notable commentator of the Holy Quran. He was also a poet and an essayist who wrote on several topics of contemporary relevance.
