Pilgaonkar was born on 25 April 1989 in Mumbai and is the only child of famed actors Sachin Pilgaonkar and Supriya Pilgaonkar. As a child, Pilgaonkar trained to become a professional swimmer and won several medals while in school.
Shriya is the daughter of famous Marathi and Hindi TV and film actors, Sachin and Supriya Pilgaonkar. In 2013, she started acting with her father’s production Marathi film Ekulti Ek. Before acting, she worked as a theatre actress and also directed few short films.
Shriya Pilgaonkar is an actress and is the only child of Sachin Pilgaonkar and Supriya Pilgaonkar, both actors by profession. Pilgaonkar learned Kathak as a child. She trained as a professional swimmer and competed at the state level, winning gold medals in the under-7 and under-9 categories.
