Locate is the Library's on-line catalogue and resource discovery system. In the Books, Journals, Media tab you will find: books, e-books, print and electronic journals, streamed videos or DVDs and sound recordings. You will also find items from Coventry University’s Institutional Repository.

Use your normal Coventry University username (eg smithj27) and password to access most electronic resources. The most reliable way to access databases is via Locate. You will then be taken to the correct link and be prompted to login if necessary.

Jul 8, 2024 · Logging in to Locate allows you to: Access electronic resources that are only available to Coventry University staff and students. Save and share search results, and create alerts to receive emails when there’s newly published content. Pin, label and group favourite resources.
Locate is the Library catalogue which gives you access to all the books, journals and databases you will need for your studies, including online copies. You can also use this to check your library account e.g. what you have borrowed and when it is due back, to reserve and renew books, and book group study rooms.
Find your way around Coventry University campus with Wayfinder, a handy tool that helps you locate buildings, rooms and facilities. Wayfinder also lets you check your attendance and access other useful resources.
