4 days ago · The Karnataka government and the Azim Premji Foundation on Saturday signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) agreeing to provide eggs four days a week, as a part of special nutrition food, for midday meals at all government schools. Currently, the government is already providing eggs two days a week and with this initiative, government school students will get eggs six days a week. The foundation will allocate Rs 1,500 crore, for three years, to fund the egg distribution initiative.
