Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple is sited on three adjoining plots of land that were acquired between 1855 and 1912. This temple was built in 1855 on the largest plot owned by a Hindu settler named Naracingam. A smaller plot was given to the temple by its then owner, Moona Sithumbram Pillay in 1894.
